Could someone please explain to the Princess why the Bolt's pulled the plug on Barry Melrose's comeback coaching career?

I know Vinnie and his entourage aren't exactly setting the world on fire down there in Tampa bay(I think they're just getting off that Ray's world series bus or something.), but wasn't just a little too early to say "Hi Ricky T, Barry don't let the door hit your ass on the way back out."
